| In 1948, Rudolf Dyckhoff and his wife Marie-Charlotte founded the Rheiner Zwirnweberei (Rheine Thread Weaving Factory), a weaving mill with six looms. In 1958/1959, the successful Company moved to new premises on Hauenhorster Strasse. It started the manufacture of curtains and drapery, table cloth and towels. In 1982, a spacious warehousing hall was added, which has enabled the Company until today to execute orders with very short delivery times. For decades now, the focus of Dyckhoff GmbH has been on the production of terry towel fabrics, being the only weaver in Germany today producing both woven and knitted terry fabrics. The Company is owned by the daughter of the married couple tat founded it. It is managed by a commercial and technical Managing Director. The product range comprises terry-towel bed linen, bathrobes, towels, shower towels and sauna towels for the private and commercial sectors. The Dyckhoff GmbH has a workforce of 105. Its daily production is around 17,000 towels and around 15,000 sqm. of knitted fabrics for terry towel bed linen. The sales figure is approximately Euro 14 mio/year.
