| Iskur Textile began in 1973 with cotton trading, cotton ginning, and cottonseed oil production. In 1992, the company began rotor spinning and production of knitted fabrics. The rotor spining capacity was 1’920 rotors in 1992, and has now expanded to 5’952 rotors. Iskur is located in Kahramanmaras. Mills are based on 216.000 m2 of open, and 70.000 m2 of closed areas. Today, Iskur’s 400 skilled employees produce yarn and fabric of the highest quality. The plan spins cotton yarns in counts ranging from 145 tex (Ne 4) to 17,5 tex (Ne 34) and polyester/cotton yarns in counts ranging from 100 tex (Ne 6) to 17,5 tex (Ne 34). Knitted fabrics: single jersey, melange jersey, fleece, indigo, interlock, pique, printed knits, ribana. Iskur exports 50% of its production and holds important market share in Europian Countries and USA. Iskur has been certified according to EN-ISO 9001-2000 Quality System Certificate.
