| Kukil Spinning Co. Ltd. was founded in April 1977. Seventeen years after its formation, the company was distinguished with the US$ 10 million Export Award. The company was also awarded a prize for Excellent Management by the Korean Ministry of Industry and Trade and, in 1996, a prize for its excellence as a medium-sized enterprise. The company has a ring spinning and a rotor spinning operation. In its OE-rotor spinning operation, Kukil spins cotton and man-made yarns and blends thereof in counts ranging from 107 tex (Ne 5.5) to 30 tex (Ne 20). Also produced are slub yarns in the count range 107 tex (Ne 5.5) to 42 tex (Ne 14). In its ring spinning operation, the company spins combed cotton yarns tex (Ne 10) to 15 tex (Ne 40), as well as flammé yarns and structured single and plied yarns. Kukil Spinning has an Open-End rotor spinning capacity of 970’000 kg/month and a ring spinning capacity of 820’000 kg/month. The company has been holding the ISO 9002 certification since 1999.
